Author Terms of Service

1. You agree that you are the original author and sole owner of each article you submit and consequently you own all copyrights pertaining to your articles. If you have hired a ghost writer, you agree that you have exclusive rights to each article you submit.

2. There are no guarantees that your articles will be accepted for publication in our directory. It is at our sole discretion whether or not to include your articles. If published, we reserve the right to remove any articles at any time. Additionally, We reserve the right to remove your article(s) and/or membership account at any time for any reason.

3. We require publisher(s) to follow our reprint rules as stated below, but you acknowledge that the enforcement of our terms of service for publishers is at your risk and cost and not ours. In other words, if someone violates your copyright -- it will be up to you to take legal action against those who abuse your copyright to protect your interests.

4. We reserve the right to choose a more suitable category for your articles if we find them to be classified wrong. Also, if your article does not conform to the our editorial guidelines, our editors may edit your article so that it does conform to the posted editorial guidelines. Please read our submission guidelines before submitting your articles. This will save time and speed the article approval process

5. By submitting your articles to cliochang.com, you agree to allow us to:

- Publish your article on cliochang.com and any of its article directory partners.
- Publish your article in RSS format for other websites to syndicate.
- Publish your article in our real time, daily, or weekly newsletters.

6. You agree that cliochang.com is a free service for authors and publishers. You will not be paid for submitting your articles to our sites and you will not be paid if and when your articles are published. You will receive all credit for your work and your resource box will be left in place. Please note that the primary reason for submitting your article to our directory is for the chance to be picked up by ezine publishers or webmasters to be reprinted to their respective audiences. While our directory receives many unique visitors daily, there are no guarantees your article will be reprinted by anyone.

7. You agree to not include any affiliate links in the body of your article. If you are trying to promote an affiliate program, please set up your own domain and link to it in your resource box.

8. You agree not to use any obscene, offensive, racist and/or derogatory phrases in you PenNames (Handles) and within your articles.

9. You agree not to create multiple accounts for the sole purpose of "Spamming" our directory. You are allowed only one account, but you may create several "PenNames" under your account, each with a separate profile. If you are submitting an article on behalf of someone, we prefer that you create an account for that person using their name and email address rather than creating a PenName under your account. We need this information so that we may communicate directly with the actual author should we have any questions for them. It's not mandatory but we request that you fill out your profile page completely including uploading a picture if possible. Our experience is that website visitors tend to want to acquaint themselves with you, and your profile page is an excellent place in which to promote yourself further. Here is an example of what an ideal profile should look like.

10. Cliochang.com may at any time translate your article into various languages for our sister sites. Your article will remain complete with your resource box.

11. Cliochang.com is advertiser supported, We reserve the right to include advertising on pages with your articles

12. We reserve the right to change these terms of service at any time. Notifications will be posted in our site blog.
